How to get here
How to get to us from Cesária Évora Airport (VXE)
1. Taxi to Mindelo Port
– ~15–20 min, costs 1 000–1 200 CVE (€9–11)
– Taxis are available at the airport
2. Ferry to Porto Novo (Santo Antão)
Choose one:
- CV Inter Ilhas – departs 08:00 & 15:00
- Nôs Ferry – departs 07:00 & 14:00
- – Takes ~1 hour, costs ~1 500 CVE (€13)
- – Buy tickets online or at the port (arrive early!)
3. From Porto Novo to the Airbnb
Option A – Aluguer (shared minibus):
– Take an aluguer to Villa das Pombas, then change to another one going into Eito
– Total cost: ~400 CVE (€3–4)
– Slower, but budget-friendly and a fun local experience
Option B – Private taxi:
